The year 2012 has seen much disaster for the earth human. Floods on every continent, hurricanes and tornados in increasing forms and storms of increasing strength. This however has nothing to do with the end of the world conspiracy theories and end of the world sayers, scaremongers, charlatans, religious prophesies and book writers which claim that Armageddon, the battle between good and evil, god and devil, the faithful and unfaithful and so on, is upon us in the year 2012. Indeed the Mayan calendar shows up to 2012 but this has been falsely interpreted as a prophesy for the end of earth. Two important facts must be considered regarding the Mayan calendar. Firstly the Mayan people had no time to make a new calendar, the Mayan people had suffered from natural disasters, famine, drought and also wars. Thus no calendar could be completed.

From Billy and Ptaah we have information on the understanding of the Mayan calendar and its relation to the year 2012. The Sun has an 11 year cycle where every 11 years the Sun becomes more active in regard to solar storms which push out enormous X-ray radiation which hit the earth and effects the Earth's geomagnetic equilibrium. This can lead to quoting "The violent solar eruptions can lead to further very intense changes of climate on the Earth, and therewith also to monstrous droughts, storms, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, failed harvests". What is special about this 11 year Sun cycle is that it ends in the same year as the Mayan calendar which represents quoting "on December 21st, 2012, the Earth should lie on an imaginary line which joins the star which is above the left side of the constellation of Orion, with the Central Sun, respectively, the centre of the Milky Way." and "That is, on the whole, the end product of the recordings of the Mayan calendar."

These are just a handful of countries. From every country I search I found flooding in 2012. However floods and climatic upheaval will continue to be the order of the day in the future due to the earth humans failure to humainely reduce the human population numbers, currently over 8.1 billion and rising, through a strict birth control. Perhaps the events of 2012 should serve as another warning to the earth human that indeed we are destroying planet earth. It is possible that the events of 2012 are also further increased by the damage done to the atmosphere by human beings through overpopulating the planet.
